Casual Event Staff - Majura Valley Sunflower Maze
Location: Majura Valley Free Range Eggs, Canberra

About Us:
Majura Valley Free Range Eggs is delighted to host the annual Sunflower Maze event at its picturesque farm in Canberra. The sunflower maze offers visitors a unique and immersive outdoor experience, surrounded by stunning scenery and towering sunflowers. As we gear up for the upcoming event, we are looking for enthusiastic and reliable casual staff to help with ticket check-in, car parking, farm gate shop sales and customer service.
Responsibilities:
Greet visitors upon arrival and assist with ticket check-in procedures.
Direct vehicles to designated parking areas and ensure efficient traffic flow.
Provide friendly and helpful customer service, answering questions and providing information about the event and facilities.
Assisted with crowd management and ensured the safety and enjoyment of all visitors.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organisation in designated areas, including parking lots and entrance/exit points, stocking shelves in the shop, arranging displays, and tidying up the sales area.
Handle cash transactions for ticket sales and shop purchases with accuracy and integrity.
Collaborate with farmers and fellow staff members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Requirements:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Previous customer service or event experience is preferred but not required.
Must be available to work flexible hours throughout March, including weekends and public holidays.
